I have a 28mm f2.8 ais Nikkor that is a good lens I use all the time. The fact that it is non ais will limit what bodies you could use it with. It could be ais modified but that would add to the cost.

A Nikkormat I did not know about. As usual your pictures are excellent. Did you mean 1976 or 1986 as to the date of introduction?
